This event, carried out by Ociomar together with the Torrevieja City Council, began at 10:00 am with the so-called Marinera Route in the fishing port. The attendees were able to learn about the seafaring origin of the city, the first fishing dock (Mínguez dock), the different fishing gear and the boats where the fishermen work, bringing fresh fish from the sea every day. After the tour of the fishing dock, they were able to visit the fish market, where the guides Adrian, Kate and Brad explained to all those present how the auction works, as well as other peculiarities of it.

Afterwards, a show cooking was carried out by Joaquín Guillamó, secretary of the Association of Hospitality Companies of Torrevieja and Comarca, who explained in detail how the anchovy is made in vinegar and salted. These recipes had a great acceptance among the public, who participated in the event with different questions, making the event very interactive and enjoyable.

At the end there was a tasting of fresh anchovies at the Isla Restaurant, located in the port area. In addition, they gave the attendees a paella tasting. Throughout the day, the little ones were able to enjoy a craft workshop given by Marcos Gastón de Duendearte.
