The UNED will have Torrevieja as its headquarters, for the first time in its history, of the Degree in Early Childhood Education (Training of Professionals for the Education of children from 0 to 6 years old), which will have 240 credits. In addition to the Early Childhood Education Degree, the University Access course for Seniors from 25 to 45 years of age, and the Open University course for Seniors over 55 years of age, have been implemented at the Torrevieja headquarters.

ACCESS TO UNIVERSITY FOR PEOPLE FROM 25 TO 45 YEARS OLD

This course allows those who teach it to prepare to pass the university entrance exam and, therefore, is the preliminary step for all those who have always had the desire to pursue higher education, but have never been able to do so until now.

UNIVERSITY OPEN TO PEOPLE OVER 55 YEARS OF AGE

This course allows continuous training for older people, with the intention of keeping this segment of the population interested in learning and increasing their cultural background, fostering their critical spirit. The program is divided into two semesters. Each semester is made up of 4 thematic blocks or subjects to be taught by an expert teacher in the field, with a total of 8 sessions for each subject, 2 days a week.

In addition, the UNED will have other services such as a Library and Study Room, as well as different cultural activities that will be specified soon and that include film cycles, conferences, book presentations or performances by the UNED choir and orchestra.

It should be noted that, depending on the demand, the Associated Center contemplates the option of unfolding in Torrevieja the teaching of 1st and 2nd of other Degrees such as Law, Psychology or Business Administration and Management (ADE).
