The great musical of the skateboard hero, Skate Hero, for the first time in Torrevieja

The Councilor for Culture of the Torrevieja City Council, Antonio Quesada, informs that this coming Saturday, October 8, at 7:00 p.m., the Municipal Theater will host the musical Skate Hero, which narrates the last twenty-four hours of the life of Ignacio Echeverría .

The narration is proposed from the point of view of the father, at the time when he writes the book «This was my son, the skateboard hero». A musical that takes us far beyond a show, since this adaptation merges the music, the choreographies and above all the emotions that pierced us all when the world suffered throughout its geography, a series of attacks terrorists, which we have known so much throughout history in this country.

All of Spain and the entire world knew Ignacio Echevarría, a bank worker, for the heroic outcome of his life. On June 3, 2017, Ignacio was returning from skating with two of his friends and in the London Bridge area they came face to face with a jihadist attack.

«Skate Hero» was born with a markedly educational vocation. Music and theater are an ideal channel for transmitting values, especially in the world of youth, as well as being a school for developing artistic skills.
