The Torrevieja International Auditorium will host for the first time the performance of the tenor Celso Albelo, accompanied by the pianist Juan Francisco Parra, in a recital that will range from zarzuela to Latin American music and opera.
Singer and pianist maintain a consolidated and recognized affinity after years of sharing stages and will offer this concert with some of the songs that the tenor recorded for his first CD entitled Íntimamente.
The elegance of his singing and technical mastery have consolidated Celso Albelo as one of the most appreciated and applauded international voices in the world of opera. In recital and concert, the tenor has performed in the most prestigious venues in Spain, Japan, the United States, Belgium, Italy, Holland and England and has collaborated with directors such as Pappano, Mehta, Harding, Oren, Zedda, Santi, Frühbeck de Burgos , Rizzi, Pidò or Frizza. His great career has brought him countless awards, including the 2008 Current Opera Award, the Verona Foundation's Lyric Oscar for l'Arena (twice), the Campoamor Theater Lyric Award (2010 and 2012) or the Giuseppe Lugo, in Italy.
His performance, which will take place this coming Thursday, October 13, at 8:00 p.m., is included within the proposal of the new Cultural Programming of Torrevieja, with the aim of turning the city into a great cultural reference in the province of Alicante , with the staging of great musicals, concerts and plays, both on the national and international scene.
