The Torrevieja City Councilor for Police, Federico Alarcón, reports that, in view of the loss of parking spaces in the port area (around 400 fewer spaces due to port remodeling works), and with the intention of the team of Government to avoid the collapse of this busy area, from tomorrow, Wednesday, August 2, it will proceed to cut road traffic from Avenida Faleria (Mapfre) thus diverting all road traffic to Ramón Gallud, so The two lanes of this street need to be free of parking so that traffic can flow smoothly to the center of the city, where there are more parking spaces and car parks.

Federico Alarcón has indicated that the road traffic cut on Avenida Faleria, which will serve to decongest the area of the port of Torrevieja, will be around 8:00 p.m. (depending on traffic needs) and will open around 1:00 a.m.: 00 hours (also depending on traffic needs). In addition, in case of need, the traffic block on María Parodi street from Ramón Gallud to Paseo La Libertad is planned.
