Trio of aces: Innovation, Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence

This year, the Focus Pyme and Entrepreneurship Vinalopó and Vega Baja 23 event will feature three powerful forces that intertwine to shape the future of our world.

On this journey, we will explore how Innovation is not only about creating novel products, but also about rethinking processes, finding creative solutions to persistent challenges and adopting bold mindsets to address complex problems. In addition, hand in hand with sustainability and artificial intelligence, we will delve into how the adoption of sustainable practices can lead to a competitive advantage and how technology, including Artificial Intelligence, can catalyze a positive impact.

Initiative promoted and financed by the Generalitat Valenciana , through the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) , within its policy of supporting innovative entrepreneurship, and organized by CEEI Elche, and a large number of entities from the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the regions of the Lower, Middle and Upper Vinalopó and the Vega Baja.

10:10 to 10:40 The new laws on sustainability, the great challenge for companies in 2023

In this presentation, we will show the legislative developments and trends, in terms of sustainability, that affect SMEs. The current laws will be analyzed, and how to adapt them to the different sectors, as well as the requirements of each of them, will be explained.

We will take a tour from the application of the European Green Deal to the laws transposed in the Spanish state and the regional laws of: Climate change and energy transition; Corporate social responsibility; Waste and contaminated soils for a circular economy.

10:40 to 11:15 Artificial intelligence Who said fear?

Artificial Intelligence, an amalgamation of sophisticated algorithms, machine learning and data analysis, is revolutionizing industries, from health to education, automotive and entertainment. In fact, artificial intelligence will change our world and our lives in unimaginable ways. In this session we invite you to learn about the benefits of its application as well as the drawbacks that it can pose in the business environment.

Opportunity to establish contact with all event attendees and interact on different issues of innovation, sustainability and artificial intelligence.

11:45 to 12:30 Colloquium debate: How do companies in the territory innovate?

At this table, companies from the regions will value their business model, and will explain the mechanisms and tools they use to innovate and impact the territory.

12:30 to 13:00 Round table: Local tools and mechanisms to help the most innovative companies

This session will show ideas, tools and examples that serve as inspiration to associations from other municipalities in the regions, and that can help the most innovative companies in our territory.
