The next day, October 2, the patron saint of the Local Police, Los Santos Ángeles Custodios, is celebrated

The Councilor for Security and Emergencies of the Torrevieja City Council, Federico Alarcón, informs that this coming Monday, October 2, the holiday of the Holy Guardian Angels, patron saint of the Local Police, a mass will be celebrated in the Parish of the Immaculate Conception, 6:30 p.m., offered to all the deceased of the Local Police.

During the course of the ceremony, a response will be made for the deceased, where a laurel wreath will be placed at the feet of the image of the Angel, while the March "Death is not the end" plays, ending the celebration with the interpretation of the anthem of the Local Police of Torrevieja.

Next, at 7:30 p.m., at the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja, the ceremony will take place to present recognitions and merits to the members of the Local Police, an event that will be chaired by the mayor of the city, Eduardo Dolón. Nearly a hundred agents will be recognized at this event.

-Recognitions to agents who have recently joined

-Gold Shield of the Local Police

To conclude the event, the agents who have served 20, 25, 30 and 35 years in the service of the local police of Torrevieja, and the agents who have retired during this last year, will be recognized.
