Rosario Martínez and Domingo Paredes present the arrival of the festival as a new boost for tourism and culture in the city. Low Festival lands in Torrevieja to begin a new chapter for the biggest festival in the province. Today, the first twelve confirmed artists were announced, marking the start of the #Low2026 lineup. General admission and VIP passes are once again available at www.lowfestival.es/abonos/. The organizers have announced a special 50% discount on tickets for residents of Torrevieja, who can get their discounted pass only until November 30th, or earlier if the quota sells out.

"Life on the Banks of the Nile in Ancient Egypt" is the title of the second course of the year in the Open University program for seniors at the UNED (National University of Distance Education) classroom in Torrevieja. It will begin next Tuesday, November 4, at 6:30 p.m. (at the International Conservatory, next to the Quirón Hospital), and will run throughout the month, completing seven sessions on November 26.

The University of Alicante is offering the first microcredential in Russian and Ukrainian Translation and Interpretation in Torrevieja.
These are university studies, new in Torrevieja, aimed mainly at people with advanced knowledge of less widely spoken languages, preferably Russian and Ukrainian, who wish to acquire initial training in interpretation and translation. Torrevieja, with a registered population of over 110,000 inhabitants, has 49.74% of its inhabitants coming from 122 countries, with the Ukrainian (more than 10,000), Russian (more than 6,000) and British (more than 5,000) groups, in that order, occupying the top positions.

Bigsound Torrevieja gets off to a strong start: Myke Towers, Ana Mena, Juan Magán, Omar Montes, and Leire Martínez headline their first lineup preview.
The first edition of the festival will take place on July 25 and 26, 2026 at the Antonio Soria Park in Torrevieja. Myke Towers and Ana Mena will present their new tours with their only dates in the province of Alicante in 2026. Alongside them, this first preview brings together Juan Magán, Omar Montes, Leire Martínez, Ptazeta, Marc Seguí and Paula Koops, in a line-up that combines established stars and new voices in pop and urban music.
