The City Council highlights the ongoing investment in beaches, the improvement of services and sustainability as strategic pillars of the tourism model

The City Council is reinforcing security and healthcare services in response to the high influx of visitors.

The Councillor for Coexistence and Integration, Óscar Urtasun, highlighted that in 2025 a total of 630 social integration reports were prepared, which represents an increase of 66% compared to 2024, mainly for Colombian (42%), Russian (20%), and Moroccan (8%) residents.

EXPO TORREVIEJA is the leading international lifestyle fair on the Southern Costa Blanca. Admission is free and it is open to the public from 10:00 to 15:00.

Torrevieja City Council's Councilor for Beaches, Antonio Vidal, reports that the Assisted Bathing Service will remain in operation until September 14th, both in the morning (10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and in the afternoon (3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).

The Councilor for Beaches, Antonio Vidal, highlights the important reinforcement of public services on the coast with a more comprehensive, modern contract tailored to the real needs of Torrevieja.

Citizens from Colombia were the most assisted with 36%, followed by Russia 15%, Morocco 9%, the United Kingdom 5%, various non-EU countries 31%, and the European Union 4%.

In addition, the beaches of Torrevieja have received recognition from the Jury for the Special Mention in “Environmental Education”
