The Department of Equality of the City Council of Torrevieja has made available to the educational centers of the town a co-educational project using the traditional game of the goose, but updated and versioned in a gender perspective. This University Specialist Degree in Masculinities, Gender and Equality arises after the demand for specialized training in egalitarian masculinities that we have been observing in recent years, both in the academic and professional fields. Indeed, studies on masculinities, for several decades now, have represented an area of growing social interest. With this course we intend to train, analyze and reflect on the different studies and research carried out on men and masculinities and their relationship and involvement in the achievement of gender equality.

The Plan will include a series of measures to guarantee equal opportunities in the areas of conciliation of work, family and personal life, training and implementation of public policies Among other activities, highlights the development of in-depth interviews with personalities from the public sphere , cultural and social of the locality; the organization of group dynamics with representatives of the local associative fabric, as well as the holding of internal work tables with technical staff of the City Council

A total of 1,190 luminaires will be replaced thanks to a subsidy of 912,620 euros granted by the Alicante Provincial Council.The new LED luminaires have an energy saving forecast of 53%, which will mean the saving of more than 70,000 euros in monetary value yearly on the electricity bill
