More than 55% of Torrevieja's population is between 30 and 69 years old, with a balance maintained between men and women. The international population has increased in the last year, rising from 55,390 to 59,205 residents, representing a considerable growth of 3,815 people.

This extension of the deadline is due to the fact that it has been detected that there is a planning plan of the Partial Plan "La Hoya" that allows the maximum height of buildings for the VPP plots owned by the City Council in 5 heights (Ground Floor + 4 floors)

Experts in the different disciplines will teach four programs starting next October after the inauguration of the new 2024-2025 academic year. The Open University is a teaching initiative resulting from the existing collaboration between the UNED and the Torrevieja City Council in terms of training.
