The Councilor for NGOs and Volunteers of the Torrevieja City Council, Concha Sala, informs of the start of the “Healthy Smiles” campaign, which is being launched by the Association of Families to Help Saharawi Children (FANS) in collaboration with this council. The objective of the campaign is to send dental hygiene products, such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, to the Saharawi refugee camps.

AGAMED launched an initiative at the end of last year to help the most vulnerable groups and promote sustainability among citizens. The Councilor for Development and Employment in the Torrevieja City Council, Domingo Paredes, has reported that since today, Wednesday, December 1, a total of 38 unemployed people over 30 years old, belonging to the ECOVID 2021 program, have begun to work in the consistory. It is a program of employment subsidies for the hiring of unemployed people of at least 30 years of age by local entities, within the framework of the Operational Program of the European Social Fund 2014-2020 of the Valencian Community (Avalem Experience Plus).
