This is a comprehensive service that guarantees the cleaning, maintenance and repair of the fixed wooden toilets and the new self-cleaning toilets installed along busy areas of the municipality. The Councilor for Beaches, Antonio Vidal, highlights the important reinforcement of public services on the coast with a more comprehensive, modern contract tailored to the real needs of Torrevieja.

The Torrevieja University Intelligent Tourism Laboratory (TI·LAB), a joint initiative between Torrevieja City Council and the University of Alicante, presented this morning the report "Study on the Use of New Data Sources to Analyze Tourist Behavior in Torrevieja."

Attendees must take responsibility for any damage that may be caused, not make electrical connections to public lighting and respect the Ordinance Regulating Green Zones, Natural Areas and Street Trees

This Friday morning, the Torrevieja City Council (CdT) awarded the 2024 Comprehensive Destination Tourism Quality System (SICTED) distinctions in recognition of the efforts and commitment to the quality of our city's tourism services.

The city of Torrevieja will join Earth Hour next Saturday, March 22nd, with the switching off of public lighting in five iconic squares: Plaza de la Constitución, Plaza Miguel Hernández, Plaza del Centro Cultural Virgen del Carmen, Plaza de Oriente, and Plaza de Encarnación Puchol de La Mata. All lights in these squares will remain off from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The Torrevieja City Council will carry out an exhaustive analysis of the solar energy potential in all buildings in the city with the help of the Valencian technology company ImpactE, and will launch the Local Energy Community project together with the also Valencian consulting firm Smart To People.
