The City Council highlights the ongoing investment in beaches, the improvement of services and sustainability as strategic pillars of the tourism model

The award will be presented on Sunday, March 8, at 12:00 noon, at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, during the Gala held to commemorate International Women's Day.

It is being held to mark International Women's Day and will take place on March 5th, at 7pm, at the Torrevieja Casino

The Councillor for Coexistence and Integration, Óscar Urtasun, highlighted that in 2025 a total of 630 social integration reports were prepared, which represents an increase of 66% compared to 2024, mainly for Colombian (42%), Russian (20%), and Moroccan (8%) residents.

The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 8, at 12:00 noon, at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, at the Gala held on the occasion of International Women's Day.

Citizens from Colombia were the most assisted with 36%, followed by Russia 15%, Morocco 9%, the United Kingdom 5%, various non-EU countries 31%, and the European Union 4%.

In addition, the beaches of Torrevieja have received recognition from the Jury for the Special Mention in “Environmental Education”
