Digital transformation and the promotion of the Transparency Portal have been key to positioning Torrevieja as a benchmark in Open Government, Citizen Participation, and Accountability. The City Council will continue to promote new innovation initiatives with the aim of improving public services, strengthening citizen participation, and keeping Torrevieja at the forefront of municipal transparency.

A technical assistance contract for the acquisition of European, national, regional or provincial funds is being put out to tender.
The contract is based on the identification of strategic projects of the city, within the framework of its Urban Agenda, likely to attract funding from European, national, regional or provincial funds, analyzing the possible calls published. To guarantee the professionalization of the staff, it is required that a coordinator, two consultants of European grants with experience and a specialist in public space and urban innovation be assigned to the contract.

Vehicles may park for a maximum of two hours, with parking controlled by the Local Police license plate reader. Outside of these hours, parking will be prohibited, and starting next Monday, July 7, anyone who fails to comply with the signs will be fined by the local police.
