In this fourth edition, 80 scholarships will be awarded to elementary school students at the "Francisco Casanovas" Professional Music Conservatory in Torrevieja.

The event served to consolidate Torrevieja as a living laboratory for tourism innovation, where the intelligent use of data is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and with a more integrated and resilient vision of the territory.

This event will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at CEV – Business Confederation of the Valencian Community, Multipurpose Room, Plaça del Comte de Carlet, 3, Valencia (Valencia).

The new building will have capacity for 430 students and 50 AGAMED workers, in two completely different spaces. The mayor has highlighted that the integration of the three universities in the University Headquarters of Torrevieja (UA, UMH and UNED) demonstrates that it is possible to collaborate together and open up to all of them to offer the best offer and services to the students of our city. It is expected that by the end of this year the entire building will be fully completed and during the first quarter of 2026, once it has been equipped, it will be opened.

The event will take place on June 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at CEEI Alcoi in Plaza Emilio Sala, 1 - 2nd floor, Alcoy, Alicante.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 9:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at CREAMA Teulada-Moraira, Auditorium, Espai La Senieta Building, Av. Madrid, 15, 03724, Teulada (Alicante).

During their visit to Torrevieja, the students also participated in the intergenerational meeting “The SDGs from a tourist perspective: sustainability is everyone's business” and made progress in the preparation of the exhibition for the 70th anniversary of the Torrevieja International Habaneras and Polyphony Contest, which will open at the end of June in the Vista Alegre room

The Headquarters of the University of Alicante in Torrevieja and the Department of Education of the Torrevieja City Council organize two new courses of the Permanent University of the UA. The Permanent University of the University of Alicante is a scientific, cultural and social development program aimed at promoting science and culture, at the same time as intergenerational relations, to improve the quality of life of older people and encourage the participation of these in their context as social dynamizers.

The new school has an investment of 7.3 million euros and includes the construction of 6 Early Childhood Education units, 12 Primary Education units, a dining room for 400 people in two shifts, a gym and spaces adapted to offer all the educational services required by community
