The City Council highlights the ongoing investment in beaches, the improvement of services and sustainability as strategic pillars of the tourism model

Starting at 9:00 a.m., various operational actions will take place, including preventive evacuations in three main scenarios: the International Auditorium (Scenario 1), the CP Nuestra Señora del Rosario (Scenario 2), and the Aquópolis water park (Scenario 3).

With this contract, the Torrevieja City Council continues to make progress in improving the material resources of the Local Police, guaranteeing a more efficient and safer service to the public.

Environmental educators visited the festival areas, encouraging residents to recycle glass to meet the recycling challenge set by Ecovidrio. The residents of Torrevieja recycled a total of 3,153,867 kilograms of glass containers. This means that each resident recycled an average of 31.4 kilograms of glass. This morning, the Local Government Board of Torrevieja City Council awarded, through an open procedure subject to harmonized regulations, the contract for the acquisition, maintenance, and installation of vertical signage for the municipality of Torrevieja to AKRA SEÑAL, SL, for a sum of €424,710, VAT included. This contract will be valid for one year, with the possibility of a one-year extension.

The mass in honor of the patron saints of the Police will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, and later, recognitions and merits will be presented to almost 200 officers at the Torrevieja International Auditorium.

The reinforcement of 41 officers in the Local Police has allowed for better coverage of the city and reinforced security throughout the summer in Torrevieja.

Torrevieja City Council's Councilor for Beaches, Antonio Vidal, reports that the Assisted Bathing Service will remain in operation until September 14th, both in the morning (10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and in the afternoon (3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).
