The mayor has informed that the acquisition of these four vans is included in the lease for a period of four years of a total of 17 vehicles (12 vehicles and 5 vans), fully equipped with the latest technologies in safety and efficiency. The contract for the 17 vehicles has involved a municipal investment of 702,000 euros, divided into four years, being about 175,000 euros per year with VAT included.

This roundabout has been embellished with a total of 28 flamingos, approximately 2 meters high, with a 10-centimeter relief carved in polystyrene and fiberglass on its exterior finish. Last Sunday, coinciding with the inauguration of the International Habaneras and Polyphony Contest, the lighting of the new pergola lighting of this central Torrevieja promenade was carried out. A sailing regatta that was born with the intention of remembering the figure of Gil Rebollo, a former councilman of the Torrevieja City Council and a person closely linked to the Marina Internacional Sports Port through sailing and sport fishing, two of his great passions.
