Torrevieja City Council puts out to tender the works for the Alto de la Casilla Urban Park, with an investment of 11.9 million euros
The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, has announced that if the planned deadlines are met, the works will be completed in February/March 2027. The park, with an area of 30,000 m2, is consolidating its position as a space designed for family leisure, reinforcing its character as a meeting point and landmark for children within the municipality. From different points, and especially from the viewpoint, it will be possible to contemplate the Torrevieja salt lagoon, the La Mata salt lagoon and the Mediterranean Sea.

The Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, reports that the Torrevieja City Council, through the Department of NGOs and Volunteering, and once the bidding process has concluded, has provisionally awarded the contract to the company Francisco M. Juárez Pozuelo for the drafting of the basic and execution project, the health and safety plan and the waste management plan for the construction of the new Day Centre for people with Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases "Tomás Ballester Herrera".
