On Saturday the 14th, Eva Soriano arrives at the AIT with her monologue “Disfrutona”, one of the most anticipated comedy shows of the moment, almost sold out. On Sunday the 15th, the Casanovas Orchestra presents a family concert inspired by The Sound of Music, as part of its Family Concerts series.

The Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center will host two sessions of this award-winning adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic this coming Sunday, March 15.

The performance will include a pre-show lecture, a screening of translated texts, and a special stage and lighting design to enhance the musical experience.

The UPCCA presents “Family Conversations I” and the “I School for Families”, two free initiatives aimed at parents, educators and the general public

“The Lovers,” starring Kiko Hernández, will arrive on June 13 with a comedy of errors full of humor and unexpected situations. “Half and Half,” with Carlos Chamarro and David Hernández, offers an irreverent dark comedy written by Jordi Sánchez and Pep Antón Gómez, premiering on May 23. “Spanish Fantasy,” by the Spanish Ballet of Murcia, will offer a dance show full of color and tradition on April 25.

The University of Murcia will develop the program through Professor Aurelio Olmedilla Zafra, a specialist in Psychology of Physical Activity and Sport.

Gitanos was written by the maestro Ricardo Lafuente Aguado in the 1950s, and was last performed in 1988 in the historic venue of Eras de la Sal.

The 6th cycle of Theatre for All presents the show “SOLO”

On Tuesday, February 24, the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center will host a screening and subsequent discussion of Stanley Kubrick's film, with free admission until capacity is reached.

On February 21st, at the International Auditorium, the National Competition of Murgas and Chirigotas “City of Torrevieja” will be presented, one of the great carnival shows of the province

The program will address topics of special interest such as setting limits and rules in the family, cybersecurity and parental control, communication in the family environment, and preventing the use of vapes, tobacco, and snuff.

This upcoming edition is notable for the presence of two top-level figures in the national literary scene, both winners of the prestigious Planeta Prize: Javier Sierra (Godfather of the Fair) and Paloma Sánchez Garnica

The awards ceremony will be held at the Municipal Theatre on Friday, March 27, at 8:00 p.m., coinciding with World Theatre Day. In addition to the awards ceremony, there will be a reading of the 2026 theatre manifesto and a performance of the play "Farra" by the National Classical Theatre Company and Lucas Escobedo, winner of the 2025 MAX Award for Best Musical Show.

Carnival 2026 officially kicks off tomorrow, Friday, January 30th, with the opening proclamation and the premiere of the documentary film "Carnival 2025," which will take place at the Torrevieja Municipal Theatre. The Torrevieja Carnival is establishing itself as one of the most spectacular and well-attended festive events in the Valencian Community.

The opening address for Carnival 2026, featuring Susi Caramelo, will take place on Friday, January 30th, at the Municipal Theater. The Carnival King and Queen Coronation Gala will have two performances on Saturday, January 31st, also at the Theater. Both are nearly sold out. Irreverent humor with Ilustres Ignorantes is also nearly sold out for Saturday the 31st, but at the International Auditorium. The weekend culminates with the comedy and reflection of Joaquín Caserza and his show about mental health, on Sunday, February 1st, at the Municipal Theater.
