Torrevieja City Council puts out to tender the works for the Alto de la Casilla Urban Park, with an investment of 11.9 million euros
The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, has announced that if the planned deadlines are met, the works will be completed in February/March 2027. The park, with an area of 30,000 m2, is consolidating its position as a space designed for family leisure, reinforcing its character as a meeting point and landmark for children within the municipality. From different points, and especially from the viewpoint, it will be possible to contemplate the Torrevieja salt lagoon, the La Mata salt lagoon and the Mediterranean Sea.

Day Center open for people with serious mental health problems
It has received an investment of 1,350,000 euros, in a collaboration between the Valencian Regional Government, the Torrevieja City Council and the ADIEM Foundation. The mayor has announced that in 2026, alongside these new facilities, construction will begin on a residence for people with extreme support needs.
