José Antonio Rovira announced that the construction of the new IES No. 6 "Eras de la Sal" will be fully assumed by the Regional Ministry itself, whose project already has an initial allocation of 250,000 euros in the regional budget for its drafting.

The Minister of Infrastructure underlines the drive for other projects such as the project in Eras de la Sal, for which a budget of 135,000 euros has been allocated for the construction of its auditorium. The restoration work on Muelle Mínguez and the remodelling of its port area will be fully completed during the last quarter of this year, 2025.

The works have an execution period of 18 months and an investment of 6,458,853 euros (VAT included). After the demolition works, the entire area will be conditioned, a new temporary fence will be installed and the modular construction sheds will be placed and the material will be stockpiled, all assisted by the archaeology team hired by the City Council in accordance with the requirements set by the Cultural Heritage of the Generalitat Valenciana.

This Digital Camp, which will take place from July 21 to 25, will offer participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of technology through games, challenges and practical activities, adapted to their age and level.

The works have been awarded to the company UTE ORTHEM-ABALA TORREVIEJA, for an amount of 6,458,852.99 euros (VAT included), with an expected execution period of 18 months.

A total of 22 entrepreneurs with 15 business initiatives registered for this third call for Torrevieja Emprende.

The building will soon house the new iHub Torretech, a technological innovation service whose objective is to promote entrepreneurship, young talent, startup incubation and local economic development. The new building will have a coworking area, work areas for digital nomads, training classrooms and spaces for workshops and meetings, as well as a hospitality and service area that will be located in the courtyard.

The base tender price for the new contract is 872,147 euros (VAT included) per year, with a duration of 4 years plus a one-year extension, meaning the investment over the next 5 years will amount to 4,360,739 euros.

In this fourth edition, 80 scholarships will be awarded to elementary school students at the "Francisco Casanovas" Professional Music Conservatory in Torrevieja.
