The City Council is putting out to tender the works for the repair and improvement of access and facilities on the beaches of Cala Piteras, Playa del Cura and Cabo Cervera
The actions will improve accessibility, safety and the general condition of the infrastructure in three of the main coastal areas of the municipality

Torrevieja hosted Ecovidrio's "Fiestas con Eco" campaign during its Patron Saint Festivities

Environmental educators visited the festival areas, encouraging residents to recycle glass to meet the recycling challenge set by Ecovidrio. The residents of Torrevieja recycled a total of 3,153,867 kilograms of glass containers. This means that each resident recycled an average of 31.4 kilograms of glass. Torrevieja has an average of 100 inhabitants per container, and currently has a total of 996 glass recycling containers installed throughout the municipality.

The Red Cross and Civil Protection have informed CECOPAL that a total of 23 homeless people (16 men and 7 women) were transferred last night to the "Tavi and Carmona" Sports Pavilion, where they are currently staying and are being cared for at all times by volunteers from Alimentos Solidarios.

The Valencian Community's Security and Emergency Agency has activated the red level for precipitation starting tomorrow, Friday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., on the southern coast of Alicante.

The regulated parking hours on Ramón Gallud Street will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The regulated parking hours on Ramón Gallud Street will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Vehicles may park for a maximum of two hours, with parking controlled by the Local Police license plate reader. Outside of these hours, parking will be prohibited, and starting next Monday, July 7, anyone who fails to comply with the signs will be fined by the local police.
