The play is set during the days of lockdown in 2020, and offers a story that is as current as it is emotional, where the forced coexistence between two strangers becomes an unexpected personal journey.

On Sunday, July 6, the Torrevieja Orfeón “Mario Bustillo” celebrates its 18th anniversary with a grand gala featuring a varied repertoire.

The presenter of this next edition of the contest will be the TVE journalist Ana Belén Roy. Torrevieja is like this, by composer Mario Bustillo and lyrics by Mari Paz Andréu, will be the obligatory habanera of this seventy-first edition of the contest.

The works have been awarded to the company UTE ORTHEM-ABALA TORREVIEJA, for an amount of 6,458,852.99 euros (VAT included), with an expected execution period of 18 months.

This measure is part of the Government team's overall strategy to continue professionalizing municipal management and ensuring that each action with property or contractual implications has the necessary technical and legal support for its development with transparency, security, and effectiveness.

The building will soon house the new iHub Torretech, a technological innovation service whose objective is to promote entrepreneurship, young talent, startup incubation and local economic development. The new building will have a coworking area, work areas for digital nomads, training classrooms and spaces for workshops and meetings, as well as a hospitality and service area that will be located in the courtyard.

The exhibition consists of seven of the 39 works that the prestigious artist has donated to UNED Torrevieja

The base tender price for the new contract is 872,147 euros (VAT included) per year, with a duration of 4 years plus a one-year extension, meaning the investment over the next 5 years will amount to 4,360,739 euros.

The works, which run along 1,247 linear meters of the cantilevered walkway, have an investment of 6,543,733 euros (VAT included).

The event will be attended by the Councilor for Education and Universities, Ricardo Recuerdo, the director of the UNED in Elche, Francisco Escudero, and the author of the book-catalogue published to celebrate this donation. Cristo Riquelme

On Friday, June 20, the Municipal Theater lights up with Candlelight: Tribute to Queen, an immersive candlelit experience. On Saturday, June 21, Antoñito Molina presents his "Me Prometo" tour at the International Auditorium, close to selling out after sweeping the most important stages in Spain. On Sunday, June 22, the UMT performs at the Municipal Theater with the Barcelona Clarinet Players, in a high-quality symphonic concert.

The works include a photovoltaic installation on the building's roof, which will contribute to the complex's energy self-consumption, in line with the sustainability objectives set by the City Council.

The new building will have capacity for 430 students and 50 AGAMED workers, in two completely different spaces. The mayor has highlighted that the integration of the three universities in the University Headquarters of Torrevieja (UA, UMH and UNED) demonstrates that it is possible to collaborate together and open up to all of them to offer the best offer and services to the students of our city. It is expected that by the end of this year the entire building will be fully completed and during the first quarter of 2026, once it has been equipped, it will be opened.
