The base tender price for the new contract is 872,147 euros (VAT included) per year, with a duration of 4 years plus a one-year extension, meaning the investment over the next 5 years will amount to 4,360,739 euros.

The works, which run along 1,247 linear meters of the cantilevered walkway, have an investment of 6,543,733 euros (VAT included).

This project has offered a complete training and employment experience to young people under 30 for 12 months, combining paid work with certified training in the administrative field.

The works include a photovoltaic installation on the building's roof, which will contribute to the complex's energy self-consumption, in line with the sustainability objectives set by the City Council.

The new building will have capacity for 430 students and 50 AGAMED workers, in two completely different spaces. The mayor has highlighted that the integration of the three universities in the University Headquarters of Torrevieja (UA, UMH and UNED) demonstrates that it is possible to collaborate together and open up to all of them to offer the best offer and services to the students of our city. It is expected that by the end of this year the entire building will be fully completed and during the first quarter of 2026, once it has been equipped, it will be opened.

The base budget for the project's tender amounts to 209,760 euros (VAT included), with the planned investment for the execution of the works to adapt and expand the IES Libertas amounting to 3,149,262 euros.

On the other hand, today, Friday, the new temporary access road to the port area opens to traffic.

The spring season will conclude on May 30 with a grand finale at the Torrevieja Municipal Theater (tickets now on sale).
