The proposal brings together outstanding soloists, a choir and a children's choir in a musical experience of great sonic and emotional richness

New this year, a large-scale outdoor ballet barre session will be held at the Natural Pools.

Grand productions such as “Dulcinea” – with Paloma San Basilio – “Better Not Say It” – with Imanol Arias –, “A View from the Bridge” and “The Threepenny Opera”; in addition to the comedy of Juan Dávila, David Domínguez and Comandante Lara; the magic of The Invisible Magician; the concerts of Sidecars, Abraham Cupeiro and the ABBA tribute, and other varied shows with local talent, make up the program of the May-August 2026 season of Cultura Torrevieja.

The competition includes the performance of a required piece, “REINA DE LA SAL” (Queen of Salt), with lyrics by Pilar Páez and music by Aurelio Martínez. This element ensures technical fairness among participants and raises the artistic level of the contest.

From March 28th to April 6th, the Vista Alegre promenade will host a well-established cultural event featuring 15 booths, 23 emerging writers, and the participation of Javier Sierra and Paloma Sánchez-Garnica. As in previous years, all purchases made at the booths during the fair will receive a 10% discount, facilitating access to reading and promoting cultural consumption.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, March 27, at the Municipal Theatre, at 8:00 p.m., where the World Theatre Day Manifesto will also be read, followed by a performance of the play FARRA, by the National Classical Theatre Company.
