Torrevieja consolidates its leadership in sports tourism with a network of modern, sustainable and top-level facilities
Torrevieja currently boasts an extensive infrastructure network exceeding 400,000 square meters, primarily integrated within its Sports City. During 2025, Torrevieja experienced significant growth in sports tourism, registering a total of 40,892 participants in events and training camps, representing a 40% increase compared to 2024.

This second heated swimming pool at the Torrevieja Sports Complex will have a basin measuring 25 meters long by 12.50 meters wide. With the aim of achieving complete integration with the existing spaces and facilities, the exterior space will be reorganized, incorporating new green areas and gardens.

It has received an investment of 1,350,000 euros, in a collaboration between the Valencian Regional Government, the Torrevieja City Council and the ADIEM Foundation. The mayor has announced that in 2026, alongside these new facilities, construction will begin on a residence for people with extreme support needs.
