The promotional video showcases the profound renewal that the municipality is undergoing, a transformation that maintains the sea, the natural environment and the unique character of Torrevieja as fundamental pillars, and which is materialized in strategic projects spread throughout the city.

The program, which is broadcast in more than 200 countries and has been adapted for more than 50, would offer top-level international exposure for Torrevieja.

Today, Monday, January 12, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., the official presentation to the media of the 2026 Golden Fork Awards and other distinctions of the Association of Hospitality Businesses of Torrevieja and Region (AEHTC) was held in the Assembly Hall of the Torrevieja City Council.

This award will be presented on Wednesday, January 28, at the traditional dinner for the so-called "Rascasa" and "Salmonete" awards organized by the local press.

This municipal action will allow for the improvement and modernization of local sports facilities, which are heavily used by young people, families, and sports groups.

As this is an amateur competition, professional cooks are not allowed to participate, although they may participate in an exhibition or non-competitive manner.
