Holy Week in Torrevieja, declared a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest
The mayor, Eduardo Dolón, has declared that this is "a well-deserved recognition that values the work and passion of so many people who participate in our Holy Week, and places Torrevieja in a prominent place within the cultural and religious heritage of the Valencian Community. The application was submitted on August 11 and, after studying the supporting documentation, the Ministry has resolved favorably its concession with a very positive assessment for its social roots and its capacity to attract thousands of visitors every year.

The Nacho Duato Dance Company, pianist Borja Niso, and the UMT: three artistic offerings for this weekend in Torrevieja.
Borja Niso will present his Ludovico Musical Experience on Saturday, October 18, at the Municipal Theater, the best tribute to Ludovico Einaudi in Spain, combining live piano music, dance, voice and synchronized projections. The Torrevieja Musical Union (UMT) offers its traditional Winds of Autumn concert on Sunday, October 19 at the Municipal Theater with a repertoire by Van der Roost, Sparke and Whitacre, also featuring soloist Marcos Sánchez Paredes.
